Disclaimer:
Trial and Error is self explanitory. There is no set direction nor is there any set story. It's an experement in my own abilities as an artist to make sequential art. Sometimes I'll try something, decide I don't like it and completely drop it, thus, the title.

I don't expect everyone to "get it". In fact, I quite expect a lot of it to make absolutely no sense. Not every strip is an attempt to be funny, so if you don't laugh it probably wasn't meant to make you laugh.

Don't try this at home.

Story:
The Island:(drama) Modern day. This story revolves around a pair of castaways trapped on a desert island by different means. It follows their adventures on the island and delves into the relaionship between these two.

Eventually, the two of them were to leave the island and return to society where Ren learns the horrors that went on in the "civilized" world while he was gone.

Characters:
Ren: Trapped on an apparently deserted island with strange and mysterious animals, he has learned to cope with his situation.
"Danni":(not officially named) The engine of her small plane failing, she crashed into the ocean just off the coast of this island.
Smiley: Given this name by Ren, Smiley is one particular island creature with a jaw full of many many sharp teeth. Smiley, for some reason, has aquired a taste for Ren.
unseen scientist: Fed up with modern society, this scientist fled to an island out pretty much in the middle of nowhere, where "he" could continue strange genetic experements. (Has yet to make an apperance if the story is continued.) The castaways are currently unaware of "his" presence.
Island Creatures: Other than Smiley, there are many other strange creatures on the island. Currently, however, only a type of very large, fuzzy, and relatively harmless herbivore has been shown.
Story:
Artist's Block:(comedy) Feeling as if my drawing talent was deplorable, I went off on a series of poorly drawn strips. It was my intention to send the characters off on a quest where they would meet up with more characters. As they approached their goal of finding the artist(me), the quality in art would improve.

Unfortunately, I became bored with the idea, found my drawing talent again, and jumped on ahead with something different. Drawing poorly on purpose was starting to take its toll on my art. I did however, improve on layouts and wound up giving the strip uniformity.

Characters:
Bad Art Monster: The manifestation of my frustration at my inability to draw, this horribly drawn stick figure monster reared its ugly head. For some inexplicable reason, the look of the monster improved in every strip. The monster turned out to be a giant talking puppy.
Poorly Drawn Man: Like his name suggests, PDM was poorly drawn. Basically a stick figure with a triangle body. He showed up to stop the evil B.A.M. only to be mocked and played with. The monster got bored with playing with the super hero and threw him into a wall. He splatted good and for all intents and purposes, he is dead.
Sin & Dex: AKA ( L ) and < R > These two just happened to show up and spot what the monster was doing to the hero. The two of them shared dialog about the state of the strip and the problem of dealing with a giant monster. Sin was supposed to be a little smarter than Dex, hence Dex's mullet. The two of them turned out to be sausages.
SideKick Boy: He was supposed to show up and rescue his superhero counterpart. Far too late to save Poorly Drawn Man due to the fact he was watching an Emeril marathon on the Food Network, he showed up in time to save Sin & Dex. Unfortunately, they were clearly sausages before he could do anything. SideKick Boy may appear in future strips.
More to come...
